In the real world, I am not only a teacher but also the Quiz Bowl sponsor. We needed a t-shirt design, so I sketched something up and apparently the kids liked it enough to pick it, so I cleaned it up digitally and sent it in. It will be lime green on black t-shirts. I went with a somewhat androgynous character design, the lightbulb from last year’s t-shirt, a tangled cord for obvious reasons for anyone who has ever done quiz bowl, and the Big Bang Theory atom as requested by the kids. The back is below:
Anyone who has ever tried to talk to me about Big Bang Theory ought to appreciate the significance of having that on a shirt that I will wear. I do NOT like that show. The things I do for these kids!
I will probably color this at some point, just for fun.
