AA15: Bird Witch
Bird Witch was one of those prompts that I looked at, and went ‘well, what the heck does that mean?’ First the witch was going to be a bird, but then I realized that outside of Percival I haven’t shown the protagonists much. So Mariam got cursed. Found some fun brushes to add to the effect.

Those little legs get awfully tired. Poor Percival didn’t quite realize what he signed on for. Nor did Mariam in taking him along!

Poor guy can’t even see over the counter, and you wanna give him a broadsword?

Again, I just love Percival. He is the Samwise Gamgee of this challenge; he knows what he is doing is right, but he has no idea WHAT he is doing.
On the flip side, WHY DID I CHOOSE ARCHERY FOR MARIAM????? That’s not easy to draw.

AA1: Adventurer Protagonist
Welcome to #AdventureApril! This was a prompt started by @mattydraws that I thought could be a fun challenge, so off we go! In March, because for some reason it starts on March 31.
Now, who could Mariam be based on, I wonder…? You get a cookie if you can guess where that last name came from. Not all of these will be in color, but the first two establish the main characters, so I wanted to color them. Expect the ones in the future to be a little sketchier…literally. They are meant to be quick sketches, and I don’t have the time to do daily full art anyway.
